Doesn't Get Better Than This

The Warriors have been able to win the game 6 in Oklahoma thanks to a break out game from Klay Thompson and critical mistakes made by the Thunder. Either way none of the past games matter anymore. Both teams are in a win or go home situation and neither team wants to be heading home.

The key to the Warriors winning are the same shooting performance that Steph Curry and Thompson have put on the last couple games. They also need the same defensive effort out of Andre Iguodala in order to slow down Kevin Durant. They must also keep the rebounding battle close in order to win.

From the Thunder side of things. They just need to get back to what they did in the first 4 games. In the last two games Durant took way too many shots. It is one thing to take 30 shots when maybe 17-20 of them were open, but Durant forced the issue on a lot of shots when they could have moved the ball and got better looks. Durant and Westbrook also need to trust their teammates and they also have to turnover the ball a lot less.

Many people are counting the Thunder out for tonight. It is understanding why considering the Warriors have forced a game 7 after being down 3-1. What people also need to understand is that the Thunder faced adversity all season long. This isn't the first time this group has been in an unfavorable position. On the other hand the Warriors have home court advantage for game 7. This usually means that the role players for home team will play much better than the role players for the away team. The Thunder have to come out prepared for the Warriors to make an early run. They will have to be ready to counter that run, or they have to be the team that makes the first punch. By taking the crowd out of the game early the Thunder might be able to calm any nerves they may have. This should be the best game of the playoffs so far.
